Updates:
- Drastic changes to Download categories and structure. Also added some more files
- Laid the foundation for newsletters and carried out the basic configuration
- Re-installed the SEF plug-in for remository
- Installed Community Builder. Registration is now using the much more
advanced features of the CB, and it works a treat. Waiting for Yanc
Newsletter integration to give users and option of subscribing to
newsletters at the point of registration.
- Installed Ako Comments for articles
- Created an extra content category for content introducts so there not
listed in the normal article list (witness previous issue with
Directory Intro)
- Added a couple of extra options to the user menu, and took away some redundant ones
- Added a new module that allows me to cycle an affiliate banner at the
bottom of articles, based on day of the week. Currently its using a
default banner.
- Finalised the fields for directory listings, although the submission and retrieval is not yet active.
- Added the Directory Introduction
Im pretty settled now on the components and modules i have. The next
couple of weeks should see the introduction of a custom template that
will knock your socks off...and some major changes to the directory.
